One of my favorite lessons to learn was conformity. Conformity is saying or doing something simply to agree with everyone else. When people have little to know information about something they depend on others actions. People can even conform withought meaning to. A sober person who is hanging out with a drunk one can a contact high, and manifest their symptoms. Overall I thought it was very interesting how even if you don't mean to conform you can do it automatically.

False memory was another lesson that I found really interesting. False memories are just as you would exxpect, a recollection of the past that did not occur. An experiment was done where a few people were told memories from their childhood but one of them was false. Yet because they were given so many details they believed that it was true. |
What is ghosting? Ghosting is when someone cuts you from their life without explanation. I found this topic interesting because I believed that ghosting happened more with romantical relationships than friendships, I was wrong. Turns out that 23% of people are ghosted by partners while 40% are ghosted by friends. If you really think about it it's crazy how friends would rather ignore you than communicate. |
